I samband med Svenska Historikermötet i Uppsala den 22-24 april 2005 bildades ett nätverk för utbildningshistorisk forskning på initiativ av professor Donald Broady. Sedan 2009 samarbetar nätverket med de nordiska utbildningshistoriska konferenserna, och sedan 2014 med Nordic Journal of Educational History. Nätverket samarbetar också med NERA Network 11 ”Historical research”.
Några gånger per termin distribueras utskick per e-mail till nätverkets över 300 medlemmar. Utskicken har samlats på denna hemsida sedan 2012, och nätverket finns sedan 2015 på Twitter/X (sedan 2024, dock passivt).
Om nätverket
Det utbildningshistoriska nätverket är en registrerad ideell förening. Sedan 2008 är Johannes Westberg, professor vid universitetet i Groningen, nätverkets koordinator.
