1. POSTDOC POSITION IN HISTORY: UMEÅ UNIVERSITY
The Department of Historical, Philosophical and Religious Studies has opened a two-year full-time postdoc position in History. The future employee is expected to conduct independent historical research, but also contribute to the research environment. History of education is one of the research fields listed in the advertisement.

2. CALL FOR NOMINATIONS: EDITORIAL ASSISTANT BOARD, PAEDAGOGICA HISTORICA
Paedagogica Historica announces a Call for Nominations for joining the Editorial Assistant Board (EAB). In 2017 Paedagogica Historica introduced a new initiative to support the professional development of early career researchers in the form of Assistant Editorships. Members of the EAB, who serve a two-year tenure, participate in the reviewing of articles, submit book reviews, propose topics, and give advice on the journal’s policies.
The Call for Nominations for joining the EAB will be open until July 31, 2023. There are up to ten positions available this year. We ask candidates to submit a one-page CV and a short motivational statement of why they would like to join the Board. If selected, members will start their tenure on September 1st, 2023. As we would like to ensure that the Board is diverse, we highly encourage nominations from different regions, languages, and disciplinary traditions.

3. ISCHE 44: PROGRAM
The International Standing Conference for the History of Education (ISCHE) Annual Conference 2023, will take place in presence at the Eötvös Loránd University, Budapest, between 18–21 July 2023. The main theme is ‘Histories of Education and Reform: Traditions, Tensions and Transitions’.

4. SVENSKA HISTORIKERMÖTET 2023: PROGRAM
Det nionde svenska historikermötet hölls i Umeå 14-16 juni 2023. Ljusa nätter och skir grönska utlovades, utöver spännande möten mellan historiker från skilda discipliner och fält.
