1. TVÅ STIPENDIER FÖR HISTORIEFORSKARE UTLYSES, LIU
Tack vare en donation från Catharina Högboms och Michael Cocozzas stiftelse för forsknings- och kulturändamål i Linköpings kommun kan Institutionen för Tema nu utlysa två stipendier för yngre forskare med historisk inriktning. Ett stipendium är knutet till Tema Barn (Tema B) och ett till Tema Teknik och social förändring (Tema T).
Stipendierna omfattar tre års heltidsforskning och riktar sig till forskare tidigt i karriären som avlagt doktorsexamen under de senaste fem åren. Varje stipendium uppgår till totalt 1 965 000 kronor.
Båda stipendierna har en historisk inriktning men välkomnar olika typer av forskningsprojekt. Vid Tema B efterfrågas forskning om barns och ungas livsvillkor, erfarenheter, kultur och historia samt förändringar i synen på barn, barndom och familj över tid. Vid Tema T kan projekten knytas till någon av avdelningens forskningsmiljöer inom historiskt orienterad forskning.
I utlysningarna framhålls också att det är särskilt meriterande om den sökande kan skapa kopplingar till forskningsmiljöer vid andra teman inom institutionen. Ambitionen är att stimulera nya möten och samarbeten mellan forskare med olika perspektiv och kompetenser.
Öppen för forskare tidigt i karriären
Utlysningen är öppen för forskare både nationellt och internationellt, och är inte begränsad till personer som redan är verksamma vid Linköpings universitet. För att vara behörig ska den sökande kunna bedriva sin forskning i någon av forskningsmiljöerna vid Tema B eller Tema T samt vara bosatt i Linköpings kommun under stipendietiden.

3. CfP: THE THIRD INTERNATIONAL HISTORY OF KNOWLEDGE CONFERENCE (UTRECHT)
The Third International History of Knowledge Conference will be held in Utrecht on 25–27 August, 2027 (perhaps the most beautiful city in the Netherlands, editors note). The local organisers of the conference invite submissions for individual papers, for panels, and for a broad and open category of other contributions.
In recent years, history of knowledge has developed into a vibrant field of interdisciplinary research and scholarship around the globe. The History of Knowledge Conference will gather scholars with a diversity of backgrounds to further develop the field and its impact on other disciplines and on society. Fostering inclusivity, we welcome all scholars working on the history of knowledge in the broadest sense, and contributions on any period, region and topic are welcome, as long as they are clearly related and relevant to the history of knowledge. However, we particularly encourage the submission of contributions that tie in with the central theme of the conference: Decentering the History of Knowledge
•Decentering the geography of knowledge, adopting a global approach by comparing and connecting different geographical areas around the world.
•Include different forms of knowledge without privileging academic or written knowledge, while paying attention to shifting epistemic hierarchies.
•Dealing even-handedly with knowing and not-knowing, by shifting focus to ignorance, failure and error as inherent to knowledge practices.
•Embracing epistemic diversity in different guises, by concentrating on the role of virtues and vices in shaping the identity of knowledge actors.
•Developing a more-than-human history of knowledge, including a variety of actors including non-human animals, plants, minerals or instruments.
•Adopting transdisciplinary approaches to develop the history of knowledge, historicizing formal and informal knowledge institutions such as universities and societies, households and families.
